The Salinas United Business Association (SUBA) has initiated a quarterly Education Series for existing and aspiring entrepreneurs. The first “Forum” is focusing on perhaps the biggest obstacle small business face – finding capital to either start a business or to provide the resources to grow and expand. The “Forum” format will include a panel presentation by representatives from partner organizations that have capital to invest small businesses. The panel will open to questions from the audience and will also be available to meet one-on-one with any attendee after the panel presentation. All sponsoring partners will have exhibit tables where attendees can pick up additional information. Don’t worry if you think your business is too small or maybe you think it is too big to be considered a small business, if the panel does not have a source to fund your business, they will direct you to a source that can. You can register by clicking here:

Congressman Sam Farr (CA-20) and California Assemblymember Luis Alejo (CA-30) will open the Forum with special keynote addresses sharing how their respective legislative bodies are working to support entrepreneurship and small businesses.
